Hadith: Arabic Text followed by English Translation.
قَالَ قَالَ اللَّيْثُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، رضى الله عنها قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ
الأَرْوَاحُ جُنُودٌ مُجَنَّدَةٌ، فَمَا تَعَارَفَ مِنْهَا ائْتَلَفَ، وَمَا تَنَاكَرَ مِنْهَا اخْتَلَفَ
وَقَالَ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ بِهَذَا

Narrated Aishah (ra):
I heard the Prophet (ﷺ),
“Souls are like conscripted soldiers; those whom they recognize, they get
along with, and those whom they do not recognize, they will not get along with.”Sahih al-Bukhari 3336
