From Quran

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتَهُۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّۚ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ صَلُّوا۟ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا۟ تَسْلِيمًا

English – Mohsin Khan/Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali

Allâh sends His Salât (Graces, Honours, Blessings, Mercy) on the Prophet (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), and also His angels (ask Allâh to bless and forgive him). O you who believe! Send your Salât on (ask Allâh to bless) him (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), and (you should) greet (salute) him with the Islâmic way of greeting (salutation i.e. As-Salâmu ‘Alaikum ).

Al-Ahzab 33:56

Hadith: Arabic Text followed by English Translation. 

عن الحسين بن علي بن أبي طالب رضي الله عنهما أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال

البخيل الذي من ذكرت عنده فلم يصل عليَّ

رواه الترمذي (3546) وحسَّنه ، وصححه الألباني في ” صحيح سنن الترمذي ” .

It was narrated from al-Husayn ibn ‘Ali ibn Abi Taalib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:

The miser is the one in whose presence I am mentioned and he does not send blessings upon me.

Narrated and classed as hasan by at-Tirmidhi (3546); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Sunan at-Tirmidhi.

اللهمَّ صلِّ على محمَّد وعلى آل محمَّد، كما صليتَ على إبراهيم وعلى آل إبراهيم؛ إنَّك حميدٌ مجيد. اللهمَّ بارِك على محمَّد وعلى آل محمَّد، كما باركتَ على إبراهيم وعلى آل إبراهيم؛ إنَّك حميدٌ مجيد

Allaahumma salli ‘ala Muhammad wa ‘ala aali Muhammad kama salayta ‘ala Ibraaheem wa ‘ala aali Ibraaheem, innaka hameedun majeed. Allaahumma baarik ‘ala Muhammad wa ‘ala aali Muhammad kama baarakta ‘ala Ibraaheem wa ‘ala aali Ibraaheem, innaka hameedun majeed

O Allaah, send prayers upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You sent prayers upon Ibraaheem and upon the family of Ibraaheem; You are indeed Worthy of Praise, Full of Glory. O Allaah, send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad as You sent blessings upon Ibraaheem and upon the family of Ibraaheem; You are indeed Worthy of Praise, Full of Glory

It was narrated from Mu’aadh ibn Anas that his father said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“Whoever eats some food then says, ‘Al-hamdu Lillaahi allahi at’amani haadha wa razaqnihi min ghayri hawlin minni wa laa quwwata

(Praise be to Allaah Who has fed me this and provided me with it with no power or strength on my part),’

his previous sins will be forgiven.”

(Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 3458; Ibn Maajah, 3285; classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi, 3348).

1. Take a bath

It is compulsory to take bath on Friday as Narrated ‘Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri that The Prophet (pbuh) said, “Ghusl (taking a bath) on Friday is compulsory for every Muslim reaching the age of puberty.” (more…)
