Today in shaa Allah I am going to share with you Dua when leaving Home.
Narrated Anas ibn Malik:
The Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When a man goes out of his house and says:
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّه
“In the name of Allah, I trust in Allah; there is no might and no power but in Allah,”
the following will be said to him at that time:
“You are guided, defended and protected.”
The devils will go far from him and another devil will say:
How can you deal with a man who has been guided, defended and protected?
Sunan Abi Dawud 5095
Umm Salamah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported:
Whenever the Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stepped out of his house, he would say,
“Bismillah, tawakkaltu ‘alallah. Allahumma inni a’udhu bika an adilla aw udalla, aw azilla aw uzalla, aw azlima aw uzlama, aw ajhala aw yujhala ‘alayya”. “
((I go forth)I begin with the Name of Allah, I trust in Allah; O Allah! I seek refuge in You from leaving or being led astray, or against slipping or being caused to slip; or doing injustice or being done injustice; or doing wrong or having wrong done to me)]”.
[Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi reported it. According to At-Tirmidhi, this Hadith is classified as Hasan Sahih. Its wording is from Abu Dawud].
