عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم :
(إن الرجل لترفع درجته في الجنة فيقول : أنَّى لي هذا ؟ فيقال : باستغفار ولدك لك)
رواه ابن ماجه (3660). وحسَّنه الألباني في ” السلسلة الصحيحة ” ( 1598 ) .
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“A mans status will be raised in Paradise and he will ask, How did I get here? He will be told, By your sons duaas (prayers) for forgiveness for you.”
