عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ
عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَكَرَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَقَالَ : (فِيهِ سَاعَةٌ لا يُوَافِقُهَا عَبْدٌ مُسْلِمٌ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي يَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى شَيْئًا إِلا أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ وَأَشَارَبِيَدِهِ يُقَلِّلُهَا ) .
رواه البخاري (893) ومسلم (852) .
It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that
the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) mentioned Friday and said:
“On this day there is a time when no Muslim stands and prays, asking Allaah for something, but Allaah will grant him it” – and he gestured with his hands to indicate how short that time is.
