*The days of Tashreeq are the 11th, 12th and 13th of Dhu’l-Hijjah
Hadith: Arabic Text followed by English Translation.
قال رسول صلى الله عليه وسلم:
لا تصوموا هذه الأيام ، فإنها أيام أكل وشرب وذكر لله عز وجل
رواه أحمد ( 10286 ) وصححه الألباني في السلسلة الصحيحة ( 3573 ) .
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“Do not fast on these days, for they are the days of eating, drinking and remembering Allaah.”
Narrated by Ahmad, 10286; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah, 3573.
