Hadith
عن أنس – رضي الله عنه – قال : ( كان رسول الله – صلى الله عليه وسلم – يفطر على رطبات قبل أن يصلي ، فإن لم يكن فعلى تمرات ، فإن لم تكن حسا حسوات من ماء )
رواه أبو داود برقم 2356 ، والترمذي 696 ، وحسنه في الإرواء 4 / 45
From Anas (may Allaah be pleased with him) who said:
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to break his fast with fresh dates before praying; if there were no (fresh dates) then with dry dates, and if there were no (dried dates) then he would take a few sips of water.
